How to Enable and Disable Avast Game Mode

Avast game mode is a feature that optimizes your computer’s configurations for use while playing games. It mutes notifications and pauses updates to allow you to focus on the game. It also adjusts your PC settings so that gaming takes precedence over other programs that might drain the CPU or slow performance.

When playing, you require lots of resources such as CPU, GPU RAM MEMORY, CPU, and more. Other recorders or apps can divert these resources from your gaming program, making it slow down or crash. Avast game mode enables you to concentrate solely on your video games, by temporarily disabling background processes and advising you of any interruptions.

It also minimizes the impact on your gaming performance from antivirus scans and upgrades by detects and suspending them to avoid interruptions. This is a benefit for those who don’t wish to be interrupted during their game to complete maintenance or to be infected by viruses.

To enable the game mode of avast to enable it, just launch the antivirus program and click on the menu icon in the top-right corner of the Windows taskbar.
